Up for sale is a lovely plate made of Malachite. The shape of the plate is an a round (circular). The plate has been aesthetically hand-made, with a lovely metallic brass finished rim. It was hand made in a workshop in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).

The plate has beautiful natural malachite patterns.

The piece measures: 12.1” x 0.3” (307mm x 9mm) [9mm in thickness]

Promicroceras species are commonly found in South West England, particularly along the Dorset coast.

Pyritic Promicroceras fossils are commonly found along the coast of Lyme Regis where they are well preserved in the Lower Jurassic (Sinemurian) Black Ven Marl.
