Up for sale is this neat specimen of the Trilobite (Homotelus bromidensis ESKER). This piece was found in Criner Hills, Carter County, Oklahoma, USA in the Pooleville Member-Bromide Formation. It has some nice articulations with a pair of Trilos in the matrix.

This species went extinct about 440 million years ago during the Ordovician, Blackriverian-Stage Period.

This piece features the head portion of the Trilobite and has little to no matrix.

This piece measures: 0.8" x 0.8" x 0.5" (20mm x 20mm x 12mm)

Promicroceras species are commonly found in South West England, particularly along the Dorset coast.

Pyritic Promicroceras fossils are commonly found along the coast of Lyme Regis where they are well preserved in the Lower Jurassic (Sinemurian) Black Ven Marl.
